Transport Facilities

ZKM School offers students the option to utilize the school transport services, provided that there are available seats. Please note that the school does not accommodate alterations to the bus route to accommodate individual preferences. Additionally, changing bus stops for a week is not permitted.

BUS REGULATIONS

  1. Students are expected to be present at their bus stops at least five minutes before the scheduled arrival of the bus.
  2. Buses will not wait for latecomers.
  3. Children should remain away from the main road until the bus arrives.
  4. Boarding is only allowed after the bus has come to a complete stop, and students must promptly take available seats.
  5. Bus drivers are authorized to stop only at designated stops, unless directed otherwise by the transport in-charge/teacher in-charge. The list of stops is arranged for the convenience of all and is subject to change.
  6. While the bus is in motion, students must refrain from moving around or leaning out of the bus.
  7. Students are accountable for any damage to the bus resulting from negligence or vandalism.
  8. Eating or discarding food is not allowed inside or outside the bus.
  9. Shrieking, shouting, and unruly behavior are strictly prohibited, as they may distract the driver’s attention.
  10. Teachers and student bus monitors are responsible for maintaining discipline on the buses. Serious offenses must be reported to the Principal/Head Mistress/Senior Mistress.
  11. To discontinue the school transport facility, one calendar month’s notice is required; otherwise, one month’s fee will be charged.
  12. Students using the school transport are not permitted to leave with their parents unless granted permission by the Principal at least 15 minutes before the bus’s departure time.

PRIVATE TRANSPORT: Students arriving at the school via vans or private transport arrangements are required to arrive punctually. If any transport arrives later than five minutes after the last bell, it will be turned away, and students boarding that transport will not be permitted to attend school.
